OVERVIEW

The input to the ADC2 Video Compressor is any video file in AVI format that has been created by a standard or High Definition camcorder. The compressor will reduce such files to 2.5% to 3% of their original sizes. At this time, the maximum input file size is a little over 4 GB but larger files can be broken up into 4 GB sections that can be compressed and played back separately. Your Video Compressor will be upgraded automatically with no limitation on input file size if you request it after you use the current initial version.

The Video Compressor will protect the video content it compresses with unbreakable proprietary encryption using a key provided by the user and known only to authorized individuals.

The ADC2 Video Player accesses local (user system) or remote (Website) compressed files to decrypt (with a key provided by the user), decompress and display the original video with high quality. Examples can be appreciated by accessing www.adc2video.com . The Video Player embedded in VideoLab will work with the video files created by the Video Compressor of VideoLab and stored locally or remotely somewhere on the Internet.

The Video Player can be downloaded for free by people that the content owner wants to give access to his/her compressed files.

The decompressed video can be stopped at any desired frame that can then be processed by FrameLab (which is part of the VideoLab package) for expansion, enhancement, storage and printing as desired.
